2-Day High Performance Builder Training

This two-day, in-person training was created for builders, carpenters, construction, and design professionals who want practical, job-ready skills in high-performance construction. Participants gain a clear, working understanding of the building science behind Passive House–inspired construction, with a focus on real-world application rather than theory alone.

The course is organized around four core performance strategies: continuous thermal insulation, air sealing and smart penetrations, better windows and doors, and fresh air exchange systems. Participants learn how these systems work together to create durable, efficient, and healthy buildings.

Short technical lessons are paired with hands-on activities, including mock assemblies and small-team problem solving. Participants practice how to connect walls, fenestration, roofs, and foundations into a consistent, high-performing building enclosure, while learning how to spot risks early and sequence work correctly on site.

By the end of the two days, participants leave with practical skills and confidence to apply high-performance construction principles on active job sites.
